Week 18 Ultrasound

James and I went this morning for our 18 week Ultrasound. My mom came with us. She wanted to be the first to see. The tech was good. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything that she was looking for. She said everything looked normal. I still got a little teary when I heard the heart beating and saw the face. He is very handsome already (which I have been worried about :) ). As I laid there watching the tech do her thing, I started to feel a little nauseous. Pretty soon, I started to sweat and thought I was going to throw up! My mom got out her check book out and started to fan me and James had to go get me some cold water. It was quite a sight to see. LOL!! The tech told me to roll onto my side just in time too. I was about to hurl or pass out! Apparently, when I lay on my back for even 10 minutes, the baby cuts off my circulation. After a few minutes, I regained my blood and felt good again. I'm sure the tech was laughing after we left. :)

The baby must still be craving tomatos. Tiloni can't get enough of them.

Teeth problems

So, I got a text from Tiloni today saying she lost a filling in her teeth. I was expecting it to be a simple refill of the filling, but no. Tiloni has a Root Canal on Thursday. We were very nervous about having to have X-rays done but after a call to my brother, a dentist with soon to be 7 kids, he said that with the lead aprons, it would be perfectly safe. We not only had one lead apron, but 3 placed on her. That is the newest news.

Tiloni's crazy cravings

So, after probably 5 years of not eating it, Tomato soup makes its way back into the rotation. Sweets are a never ending craving also. Tiloni can't get enough ice cream.

Since I am new to this whole pregnancy thing, I got a little worried about some cramping I was feeling, so I went into my OB/GYN a little early just to check up on my little peanut. Our new Doc is really cool and thinks James being a chiropractor is a good thing. He encourages him to start adjusting me and took some business cards so he can refer patients to him. He says the baby looks healthy and I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Of course I teared up when I heard it. Here are the most recent ultrasound pics.

My Pregnancy

So, this is going to be where I post information on my pregnancy. I don't want to post to facebook because I'm not ready for everyone to know. So, if you are reading this then you are in the know. :-)
